I met Katie almost 4 years ago when I began working with her back in my corporate days. She was always bubbly and made work so enjoyable! She moved on to a new company and I quit to pursue photography full time. We don't get to see each other often now but one night at dinner with friends she asked me if I'd shoot her wedding on Valentine's Day. I was so honored that she thought of me and excited to celebrate with her!
It was Wednesday, a little rainy and cloudy. I drove to her mom's house where the event was being held that afternoon. I walked into a sea of pink from cupcakes, to flowers, to champagne. It was a girl's dream!
It was a small, intimate ceremony with only close family in attendance. The living room was transformed into a wedding chapel with an aisle, rose petals, and floral arrangements. Just because it was small didn't mean any details would be missed.
Katie had her hair and makeup done with her mom while Daniel had help from his dad in fastening his cuff links. The music played softly as Katie walked down the aisle and married the love of her life. It was a (sugary) sweet day they'll remember for a lifetime. Thank you for letting me be a part of it!
